Hi there!  Let me introduce myself, and invite you in to my cozy little corner of this World Wide Web…

I’m Jessi, and this is the space where I’m ‘Finding My Voice’ – and not just finding it, but freeing it as well.  I’ve been somewhat of a ‘closet blogger’ for several years now – mostly because of my own insecurities.   (Oh, don’t get all judgy on me – we all have them!)  I’ve held back a bit on letting the ‘real’ me – my thoughts, beliefs and opinions – come through in my writing and conversations.

But I’m not holding back anymore.

I want this to be a place where not only do I find my own voice, but where you let yours be heard as well.  I want to dialogue about the realities of life, like marriage and motherhood.  I want to have the conversations about the not-so-tidy-and-sometimes-gut-wrench journey of faith.  I am finally ready to talk about how I 100% believe women are called to lead, alongside men, in the Body of Christ…and how we are missing out on so much when we shortchange this truth.  I want to share together what’s in our hearts about the beauty, and pain, and joy, and sorrow, and overflowing-fullness of all that it means to be a woman.

Most of all, I want you to join me.

If I could, I would offer you a nice hot cup of coffee or tea (I’m a big fan of both!), and I’d invite you to get comfy and tell me what you really think.  But since this is a virtual gathering, unfortunately, you’ll have to get your own beverage of choice..  I do hope, however, that you’ll settle in and visit with me…and find your voice in this conversation.
